building Consents

We were very pleased recently to welcome Richard Harral, Technical Director, CABE to our in-house training session at Building Consents. As usual Richard was very entertaining but the most important aspect was finding out more of the Building Safety Bill and how it's going to affect us as all whether as a company or individuals plus the affect it will have on our clients.

Following an increase in volume and complexity of work Building Consents Ltd. is pleased to announce that Trevor Jacklin will be joining the team as Technical Director with immediate effect.

Trevor will lead on all technical issues within the company but primarily will be responsible for leading our inhouse plans examination team. He will now deal with all technical queries relating to our major projects and bring together the expertise of our existing team.

We recently met up at HQ for a team lunch and a catch up. Never realised there was that many of us until now!

Glyn Thomas has joined Building Consents Ltd. as the new MD designate due to company founder Larry King looking to wind down and retire in the next year. Glyn will take the helm following CICAIR approval and has ambitious plans to strengthen the company as it celebrates a decade of providing quality Approved Inspector services across the NW and Midlands.

Following a brief stint at Premier Guarantee and a more fulfulling decade abroad working for International property developer Amstar in Ukraine, Glyn aims to bring a more consensual approach to the market.
