Assent: transfer advice

Following the unexpected closure of Assent Building Control this week, many clients are concerned about the future of their ongoing projects.

Now that Assent Building Control has ceased trading, these are very difficult times for the staff who have lost their jobs but also for the hundreds of clients, architects and contractors who still need ongoing Building Control services. Your project still needs to be inspected and issued with a completion certificate when the work is finished satisfactorily,

Once your project is one of the 20,000+ projects cancelled by Assent Building Control it will revert back to the Local Authority. You therefore need to make decsions quickly - to have the council deal with your application or transfer to another RBCA

Note that if you want to avoid this process and transfer the project to us there will be a fee but, just like the council, this will reflect the number of inspections we will need to carry out.
